We have been operating Žižkárna since 2017. Although we are not a small family guesthouse, but a hotel with a capacity of 160 beds, our goal from the very beginning has been for you to feel comfortable and welcome here.

We are located at 1000 m above sea level and directly on the main trails – right from our doorstep, you can embark on adventures across the peaks in summer, and in winter, ski directly to the lift, or connect to the cross-country ski trail right next to the hotel.

We are situated directly on the ESO ski slope, in the heart of the largest Czech ski resort. On clear days, our terrace offers breathtaking views of the main ridge of the Krkonoše Mountains and Sněžka (1603 m above sea level), the highest peak in the Czech Republic.

Thanks to this prime location, we are an excellent starting point for both winter and summer recreation. In summer, for hiking or cycling trips, and in winter, ski enthusiasts will appreciate the quality of the modern SkiResort ČERNÁ HORA – PEC.

I can certainly recommend this hotel. Accommodation directly on the ski slope, with phenomenal views of Sněžka and the surrounding mountains. Three/four-star guesthouses/hotels are fine,… show more but they simply can't offer the unique atmosphere of this mountain chalet. The staff and operators of the chalet are friendly and accommodating. The food is good, with a buffet breakfast offering something for everyone. Lunches and dinners offer a consistently good standard. While the rooms show their age a bit, the beds are clean, and the room was pleasantly warm. It's definitely worth a visit.
