Žižkova bouda is a mountain hotel in Pec pod Sněžkou, which, with a capacity of up to 160 beds, offers accommodation for families with children, nature schools, ski and sports courses, as well as larger group stays.

You’ll find us at an altitude of 1000 m, directly on the ESO ski slope and hiking trails. In winter, you can hit the slopes directly from the hotel, and in summer, head straight out for trips around the Krkonoše Mountains.

And even though we are not a small family guesthouse, we want you to feel comfortable and a little bit at home with us. We have been operating Žižkárna since 2017, and from the very beginning, our priority has been to offer more than just a bed for the night – we want it to be a place you’ll love to return to.

Part of the film Holka na zabití was shot here, and we are proud of this piece of our Bouda’s history! For this occasion, we have prepared a thematic exhibition for you at the reception. In 2026, part of the film Nejlepší je to pod Sněžkou was also filmed here, which we can look forward to seeing in cinemas.

I can definitely recommend this hotel. Accommodation right on the ski slope, phenomenal views of Sněžka and the surrounding mountains. Three/four-star guesthouses/hotels are fine, but… show more they won't offer the atmosphere of this chalet. The staff and operators of the chalet are kind and helpful. The food is good, breakfast is buffet style, everyone will find something they like. Lunches and dinners are a solid standard. The rooms show their age a bit, but the beds are clean, and the room was pleasantly warm. It's definitely worth a visit.
