In winter, you cannot reach the hotel by car – we are right on the ski slope (which is certainly one of the reasons you’re planning to visit us in winter, right? :-)).

You will park your car in one of the official car parks in Pec pod Sněžkou (or nearby) and then you need to choose one of the options to get up from your car.
→ Backpack on your back, take the Javor ski lift up and ski down to our hotel.
→ Backpack on your back and walk up.
→ Taxi scooter (open-top vehicle): Maximum occupancy is 2 adults and a small child. The price for transport up/down is 500 Kč from the scooter stand. For reservations or any inquiries, please call our reception +420 724 000 033. Please book only when you are at your parking spot – so you know where the taxi should pick you up.
→ Traxter (enclosed vehicle): Maximum occupancy is 5 people (suitable for babies and dogs). The price for transport up/down from the scooter stands is 1 000 Kč. For reservations, please contact Taxi Pec (www.taxipec.cz), phone +420 608 033 242. Please book only when you are at your parking spot – so you know where the taxi should pick you up.

If you park in the P1 parking garage (by the petrol station, 800 m before Pec pod Sněžkou), you will still need to get to the taxi/Traxter stand. You can either wait for the ski bus, which is free. Alternatively, we can arrange car transport for 200 Kč from P1 to the stand (for reservations, please call reception +420 724 000 033).

It depends on the time of year you’re planning your visit.

In summer, it’s easy. You can easily reach us on foot (approx. 2 km from the bus in Pec pod Sněžkou), or by car.
If you decide to travel by car: Before driving up to us, you will need to purchase an entry permit from KRNAP, and then you can park at our hotel. Payment is cash only (the machine accepts coins and banknotes up to 500 Kč), the machine’s location is on the map here >>. For one vehicle and one day (single entry), you will pay 100 Kč; for 2-8 days, it’s 200 Kč. This fee aims to regulate the number of vehicles in KRNAP.
At our hotel, you will then pay a parking fee of 70 Kč / car / night.

In autumn, winter, and spring the access road may be covered with snow or ice, making the road up impassable. In that case, you will park your car in Pec pod Sněžkou or at a parking lot of your choice and then select a way to get to the hotel.

A buffet breakfast is always included with your stay. With half board, you also get dinner – soup and a main course.
If you opt for full board, you’ll have pre-paid meals for the entire day – breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Both lunch and dinner always consist of soup and a main course.

Both half board and full board can be purchased in advance with your accommodation, or you can decide to purchase meals on site. Meal prices are listed in the price list above.

Changes to meals within the half board or full board package are not possible – we prepare a set meal for all guests. If you prefer to choose your own meals, please take advantage of our restaurant and its à la carte menu.

We have two room categories – Economy and Standard. No matter which room type you choose, every morning you will enjoy a buffet breakfast – always included in the basic accommodation price.

Christmas in the mountains has its magic.
If you want to spend Christmas in the Krkonoše Mountains without the hassle of preparing Christmas Eve dinner, at Žižkova bouda, we will take care of it for you. On Christmas Eve, we will prepare a traditional Czech Christmas menu in the form of a rich buffet, which is included in the price of your stay from 24. to 25. 12.
This way, you can enjoy the day as you please – perhaps outdoors in the mountains – and in the evening, simply gather for a good meal and together savor the Christmas atmosphere.

Just a small practical note: On 24. 12., our restaurant will be closed during the day because in the kitchen, we will be fully dedicated to preparing Christmas Eve dinner.

Let’s enjoy the last evening of the year together at Žižkárna.
If you are looking for a New Year’s Eve stay in Pec pod Sněžkou, you can look forward to live music, a lavish New Year’s Eve buffet, and a communal midnight toast with us. This way, you will welcome the New Year right in the Krkonoše Mountains, high up in the mountains.

The price of the stay on the night of 31. 12. to 1. 1. is therefore higher, and the New Year’s Eve program is already included in the price. You will not pay anything extra for it on site.
