Spring, Summer, Autumn

Should you wish to use our hotel parking, access from Pec pod Sněžkou up into the forests (and thus to our hotel) is only possible with a KRNAP permit. Down at the central car park, you will find a KRNAP machine where you can purchase this permit. Currently, the fee for hotel guests (which includes you) is 100,-CZK per day or 200,-CZK for 2-8 days.

Our recommendation for spring and autumn: Before your journey, please inquire at the hotel reception (tel.: +420 724 000 033) whether it is possible to drive up to our hotel by car (and thus use our parking) or if there is snow on the access road (in which case you will park your car at the central car park in Pec pod Sněžkou).

Winter

During the winter months (typically **from November or even earlier**), the access road to the hotel is covered in snow (the road crosses a ski slope with plenty of artificial and natural snow), making it impossible to reach the hotel by car.

The specific price list and dates provided were valid **for winter 2025/2026**. We keep them here for your reference; before **winter 2026/2027**, we will update all information once the official details from the town of Pec pod Sněžkou are published.

Our tips for the cheapest and easiest parking

  • The Krkonoše Card will be issued to you at check-in at the reception – this way you will have the stated parking prices (the Krkonoše Card must be valid when leaving the parking lot).
  • Online parking reservation at P1: On the website myparking.io you can reserve your parking spot at P1 in advance. With an online reservation, you then have the option to repeatedly leave and re-enter the parking lot for free.
  • From P1 parking, regular ski buses to Pec pod Sněžkou are provided from 20. 12. 2025 to 15. 3. 2026 – transport by ski buses is free.

Based on the available information, for stays longer than 2 nights, the covered parking P1 is the best option (the parking garage is about 800 m before Pec, near the gas station). From the parking lot, free ski buses run to Pec, ideally to the Javor ski slope, from where you can call a taxi scooter (phone numbers below), walk, or ski down.

How to get from Pec to Žižkova bouda

  1. On skis / snowboard / cross-country skis, you can go up to the Javor 1 slope and ski down directly to our hotel. Alternatively, you can reach us on foot.
  2. Taxi scooter – order at the following phone numbers:
